FOREWORD
This document is intended to provide guidance for Extended Data Service (XDS) decoder manufacturers and cable operators utilizing cable channel mapping system information packets. These packets have miscellaneous class type codes 41 h, 42h or 43h, and are described in detail in EIA-745 or the latest edition of EIA-608, when adopted.
