This Standard specifies requirements on the working environment, materials of construction and performance of diaphragm meters of maximum flow rate (Q_max) up to 8 m³/h when tested on air at pressure absorption of 125 Pa. (Meters up to this capacity are generally produced in large quantities.) The design and construction requirements are intended to provide for an expected minimum working life of twenty years.
