This Standard specifies colours, markings and designation requirements for mobile waste containers according to AS 4123.1 to AS 4123.4. The aim is to enhance the maximum resource recovery by providing guidance on colours and markings for various elements of the waste stream.

This Standard is applicable to mobile waste containers with capacities up to 1700 L.
