(a) Geometric properties.

(b) Breaking load.

(c) Coefficient of thermal elongation.

(d) Stress-strain characteristics.

(e) Creep characteristics (permanent elongation).

(f) d.c. resistance of conductors.

(g) Fatigue characteristics.

(h) Thermal aging characteristics.
