This Standard sets out the method for the determination of oxides of nitrogen in ambient air using a direct-reading instrumental method. This method applies to the determination of oxides of nitrogen in ambient air where the concentration typically lies within the range 0 to 5 p.p.m. by volume (equivalent to approximately 0 to 6700 µg/m³ of nitric oxide).
