This international standard applies to the assessment of image attributes on prints and transparencies produced from electronic sources. Assessment of the equipment itself which produces prints and transparencies is outside the scope. This standard specifies test signals, measurement conditions and forms of reporting the results so as to make possible the comparison of the results of measurements.
