This standard gives guidance on writing the technical specification for the procurement of air heating equipment associated with steam generating plant and gas reheating equipment associated with flue gas treatment plant for use in electricity generating stations (power stations). This guide does not cover systems for direct contact heating of air or flue gas by hot gases.
