PURPOSE. This NPG establishes NASA requirements, responsibilities, procedures, and guidelines related to the identification of Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) and to the development of cost-sharing or cost-recovery arrangements with PRP's for the purpose of pursuing or negotiating for equitable funding for investigation and remediation of contaminated sites on NASA Centers, including Component Facilities.

APPLICABILITY. This NPG is applicable to NASA Headquarters and all NASA Centers, including Component Facilities.
