PURPOSE
NASA recognizes and endorses the importance of bringing to light, preventing, and/or seeking early, informal resolution of employment-related disputes and of treating all employees reasonably and fairly. This NPG establishes the responsibilities, procedures, and guidelines that are directed towards achieving these objectives through the NASA Grievance System and should be used in conjunction with the referenced statutory and regulatory requirements. Center Personnel Offices should be consulted for further information and guidance.
APPLICABILITY
This NPG is applicable to NASA Headquarters and NASA Centers, including Component Facilities. Unless otherwise indicated, use of the word Center(s) in the text of the NPG includes NASA Headquarters, and any reference to Center Director(s) includes the Associate Administrator for Headquarters Operations.
