This NPG establishes procedures, guidelines, and criteria for the acceptance of public speaking engagements by NASA Astronauts and other NASA personnel. For the purpose of this NPG, other NASA personnel include scientists, managers, and other knowledgeable NASA officials.

This NPG applies to NASA Headquarters and NASA Centers, including Component Facilities.
