The Standard specifies terms and definitions as well as concepts relating to ultrasonic testing. The purpose of the standard is to establish a uniform Danish terminology in conformity with international practice. In addition, the standard contains English and German terms and their definitions in English. As regards the German terms, the gender of the word is added in parentheses.
