Purpose: This document sets forth the characteristics of an On-Board Weight and Balance System (WBS) designed for installation in commercial transport aircraft.

This Characteristic is oriented toward today's known new generation type of Weight and Balance systems.

The presently known physical principles do not exclude any other physical method for weight determination in an aircraft.
