This specification covers a fully automated and self-contained Navy Integrated Membrane System (NIMS) capable of providing treatment of oily wastewater found onboard Naval vessels at a rate of 6.7 gallons per minute (gpm). The effluent of the NIMS will contain to more than 15 parts per million (ppm) oil.
