Four levels of product assurance are provided for each hermetic encapsulated device type as specified in MIL-PRF-19500, with avalanche energy ratings (E_AS and E_AR) and maximum avalanche current (I_AR). Two levels of product assurance are provided for each unencapsulated device type die.
