This specification covers solid wood paddles and laminated wood paddles for boats and life floats.

Paddles should be of the following types, styles, and sizes, as specified (see 6.2):

     Type I — Laminated wood construction               Type II - Solid wood construction
       Style A — Standard blade                           Style A — Standard blade
           Size 48 — 48 inch length                          Size 48 — 48 inch length
           Size 60 — 60 inch length                          Size 60 — 60 inch length
           Size 66 — 66 inch length                          Size 66 — 66 inch length
           Size 72 — 72 inch length                          Size 72 — 72 inch length
       Style B — Wide blade
           Size 48 — 48 inch length
           Size 60 — 60 inch length
           Size 66 — 66 inch length
           Size 72 — 72 inch length
