NAVY ML-M-24605A 1988-JUN-21 MONTOR HEAT STRESS
This specification covers an environmentally hardened portable instrument that transforms the surrounding thermal energy in a manner that can be electrically-measured and converted to various parameters that-include the dry bulb temperature (DBT), wet bulb temperature (WBT), globe temperature (GT), and a heat stress index. The heat stress monitor (HSM) maybe microprocessor based.
This portable monitor used for physiological heat stress determination shall be classified as specified (see 6.2.1), according to the following variables:
