This specification prescribes the requirements for the preparation of a handbook of operating instructions for electronic, electrical, electro-hydraulic, and electro-mechanical equipments, systems, and test equipment.

The operating instructions shall be prepared for the use of personnel having limited experience in operating or using similar types of equipment.
