This European Standard is applicable to iron-coated granular activated alumina used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of iron-coated granular activated alumina and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for iron-coated activated alumina. It gives information on its use on water treatment.
