This publication presents calculated ampacities for single-conductor solid-dielectric 15 through 69 kV power cables with bonded and grounded shields, copper or aluminum conductors, spaced or trefoil configurations, single or double circuits, directly buried or in buried ducts. Ampacities are given for four different shield resistances for each conductor size. For spaced cables, ampacities are also given for open-circuited shield operation.

Trefoil—Three cables which have been installed in close contact and which may or may not have been bound together at the time of installation.
