1. Scope--This SAE Standard covers a terminal footprint for mini and micro relays used in surface vehicle electrical systems.

1.1 Purpose--This proposal specifies the main dimensions and terminal allocation for a family of relays incorporating a dual in-line pattern of 280 series (2.8 mm) terminals to be used in surface vehicle applications.
