Stall, as considered in this Aeronautical Standard, is a condition in which the forces resulting from the flow of air about the wing of an airplane are not adequate to maintain or control its flight.
This Aeronautical Standard covers two types of stall warning sensors intended for use on aircraft to indicate to the pilot an impending stall.
TYPE I - Single operating point type sensor
TYPE II - Continuous operating type sensor
