This specification covers one type of organic (para-aramid) fiber in the form of yarn. The product shall be formed as a multiplicity of filaments drawn together and gathered into an approximately parallel arrangement.

Organic fiber 1500 denier (1670 dtex) yarn with 21.9 gpd (193.3 cN/tex) nominal tensile strength and 550 gpd (4855 cN/tex) nominal tensile modulus with a high lubricity finish for use in cables and cordage requiring high tensile strength and moderate modulus of elasticity in tension.
