This specification covers one type of organic (para-aramid) fiber in the form of yarn. The product shall be formed as a multiplicity of filaments drawn together and gathered into an approximately parallel arrangement.

Organic fiber 200 denier (220 dtex) yarn with 23.8 gpd (210.1 cN/tex) nominal tensile strength and 713 gpd (6295 cN/tex) nominal tensile modulus for use in cables and cordage requiring high tensile strength and moderate modulus of elasticity in tension.
