This tape has been used typically in construction of parachutes, but usage is not limited to such applications.

This tape is classified by breaking strength as follows:

Class 1 - 300 pounds force (1334 N)

Class 2 - 1000 pounds force (4448 N)

Class 3 - 3000 pounds force (13,345 N)
