This specification covers the requirements for two types of anti-icing and deicing-defrosting fluids for use on aircraft.

Classification:

The anti-icing and deicing-defrosting fluids covered by this specification shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2.1):

Type I - Propylene Glycol base fluid with Inhibitor

Type II - Ethylene Glycol base fluid with Inhibitor.
